GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

MPS Has Talent 2023

MPS has Talent took place just before we broke up for Christmas, on Thursday 14 December 2023, and the audience were treated to over twenty different performances. Each act performed their talent brilliantly, hoping to win one of the three prizes on offer. Tickets sold out even quicker than last year and so the atmosphere in the hall was electric. One pound from every ticket sale was donated to a local charity, Stripey Stork, and we are delighted to let you know that we raised £213 for them.

With so many excellent acts, it was very hard for our judges, led by Head Judge, Mr Holloway, to decide on the winners. Congratulations to the following students:

 

1st place - Bella Jonsson (gymnastics)

2nd place - Brooke Major and Lewis Ward (singing)

3rd place - Jack Plumridge (dancing)

 

The talent displayed on stage was not only a testament to the individual skills of our students but also a reflection of the collective commitment to excellence that we witness at Merstham Park School. 

All of the students who took part, and the three very entertaining student hosts, put on a great show.
