GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

For Each Theme, Focus On:

  • Key Beliefs: What do different religions teach about this topic? 

  • Practices: How do religious believers demonstrate their beliefs in this area? 

  • Sources of Authority: What sacred texts or traditions do they use to guide their beliefs and actions? 

  • Influence: How do these beliefs and practices affect individuals, communities, and society? 

  • Ethical Arguments: What ethical arguments are relevant to the theme, often requiring you to refer to a religion? 

  • Similarities and Differences: For the thematic studies, you may need to compare and contrast beliefs or practices within or between religions.
