Today, Year 8 students provided their view on change starts with us in support of Anti-bullying. Here’s one view: I think change starts with us means that people are going to change their ways and support others if they have bullied anyone else in the past.

What is Project Based Learning? In students work on a project over an extended period of time – that engages them in solving a real-world problem or question. They demonstrate their knowledge and skills by creating a public product or presentation. https://t.co/OBJZBsHdBK

Students in Y8 worked in groups to research a worldview / religion, applying a sociological approach. They produced a website, a photo-story and interviewed a believer. Take a look! https://t.co/ebeKYgKdeD

We are a new school and from day one we want to ignite a passion for learning in all our students so they can reach their full potential.

You can find out so much more at our open mornings on September 25, October 4 and 8 and on the evening of October 1.

The Merstham Park School family respects each other and works as a team to enable everyone to achieve their goals and aspirations while ensuring our students are self-motivated, confident and resilient.

We have very high expectations of our school community and encourage all our students to be their best while caring for each other and the wider world.

Our staff lead by example and demonstrate professionalism at all times while inspiring students to be independently-minded and prepared for their future with the promotion of leadership skills.

Our curriculum uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as the STEAM access points for guiding students through their education with an inquiring mind and critical thinking which leads to open dialogue and wider knowledge.

Our vision is to provide a curriculum supporting the needs of the community, focusing on the development of both local and global enterprise. We want to be a valued part of the wider community and will share our new facilities when they are completed.

Our culture is one of achievement and we encourage every student to succeed through developing their unique potential while striving to meet the needs of all students, whatever their background.

We provide a safe and inspiring learning experience for all our students where everyone feels valued and we celebrate individual achievement.
