MPS Welcomes Claire Coutinho, MP for East Surrey

We were delighted to welcome Claire Coutinho, MP for East Surrey, to MPS recently, where she visited our current student art exhibition. During her visit, Claire spent time exploring the impressive range of artwork on display, commenting on the creativity, skill and individuality demonstrated by our students.

She met with staff to discuss the importance of the arts within the curriculum and recognised the valuable role that creative subjects play in supporting both student achievement and wellbeing. Claire showed a genuine interest in the breadth of opportunities available to our students and the continued development of the Arts at MPS.

Claire expressed her enthusiasm for the work taking place and was keen to be kept updated on future arts initiatives and exhibitions. We look forward to maintaining this connection and showcasing further successes from our talented students.
