Finally, a teaching advert that get it right. As my maths teacher once told me "I don't know why people aren't queueing up to be teachers". Best job in the world. https://t.co/1HwxhRtH9A

Plans of the School

Merstham Park School will be a new 6FE (900 pupil) Secondary Free School (aged 11-16). Subject to securing planning permission, the school will open in temporary accommodation on the site in September 2018 with one year followed by a further on year intake in September 2019. The school would then move into its permanent building for the start of the 2020/21 academic year and will be operated by GLF Trust. The vision of Merstham Park School is to provide “a curriculum that supports the needs of the community and that focuses on the development of both locally and globally focussed enterprise, and skill in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM)”. The intention is for the school to be part of the local community through the shared use of facilities in the proposed permanent building. This will include both leisure and business-type functions, which will allow the community to benefit from the scheme.
