Students at Merstham Park enjoying our House Master Tasks today - well done to you all.

Passionate teaching will never change at our school and a delay in the arrival of our new building won’t alter that. Proud to be part of big changes and a new community.

Great things will be achieved, but our new building has been delayed - our standards are high and it will be time well spent. Looking forward to a bright future.

We continue with excellence while the new building is developed. There has been a delay, but nothing has changed in our big plans for a fantastic future

Fantastic to have our students participating at the GLF Schools Science Fair for winners!

Our amazing school will have a fantastic new home, but there has been a delay. We are all committed to creating the best, but it will take a bit more time than we hoped - see the full story

SEND Provision

SEND Provision at Merstham Park School aims to identify and overcome potential barriers to learning, whilst supporting the needs of all SEND students within and beyond the school setting.

Merstham Park School SEND provision takes into account the full scope of student support, first and foremost this is the delivery of high quality, whole class teaching, guided and group work and individual interventions.

SEND students are supported in a range of different ways, including:

  • In-class support for EHCP students provided by a dedicated team of SEND Learning Mentors(SLMs);

  • A SEND Student Support Centre, which aims to include students with behavioural difficulties by providing a learning environment outside the classroom;

  • Specialist lessons aimed at supporting learners with literacy, numeracy and social skills development;

  • Access to a qualified counsellor to support students in a one-to-one environment;

  • Home-School Liaison to provide support for students and families to ensure school is  place of happiness and success.
