We were so proud to be able to present this Positivity Quilt to our friends at Coppice Lea. MPS staff, students and their families created squares for this masterpiece over the February half term to let the residents at Coppice Lea know that even though we haven't been able to visit, we are always thinking of them.
Neema Clinton, the Manager of Coppice Lea said:
“We are delighted that the staff and students at Merstham Park have been thinking about the residents of Coppice Lea during lockdown, and have put their creativity into practice to make such a beautiful quilt which will give pleasure to our residents for years to come.
We at Coppice Lea are really looking forward to resuming our friendship by working and collaborating with Merstham Park. It is wonderful to see how much joy and happiness everyone feels when they get involved in our joint art based projects.
Coppice Lea send our love to the staff and students at Merstham Park. We can’t wait to see them again. In the meantime, the Positivity Quilt will be a reminder of the joy the residents feel when they are visited by the students at MPS.”
We can't wait to be able to see the staff and residents of Coppice Lea again.
