GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Life in Secondary School

As part of their prefect projects this year, a group of our student prefects visited Lime Tree Primary School to speak to the Year 6 students about life at secondary school.

They delivered a thoughtful presentation, answered lots of questions, and even created an engaging activity for the pupils to take part in. The Year 6 students loved it and responded with real enthusiasm!

Our prefects were fantastic — they spoke with honesty, showed great maturity, and were incredibly engaging throughout. A brilliant example of student leadership in action!
