Students will take part in a workshop at The Old Operating Theatre at London Bridge, directly supporting their Medicine Through Time unit, this will offer a valuable insight into historical medical practices and developments. In the afternoon, students will enjoy a guided tour of The Golden Hinde. Although this forms part of their Early Elizabethan England unit studied in Year 11, experiencing the ship first-hand will support their understanding of Elizabethan exploration and naval power.
Students are required to attend the trip in full school uniform with a waterproof coat and sensible footwear. Students will also need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle, please ensure no fizzy drinks or nut products.
