It was great visiting Walton On the Hill Primary School today for Year 6 transition.

Without willing volunteers like you Lynne, so much is left undone. Hope you had appropriate Risk Assessment?

Behaviour for Learning

Merstham Park School  has high expectations of all students.

The purpose of our Behaviour for Learning Policy is to enable all stakeholders – students, staff, SSB Members and parents to share responsibility for creating an atmosphere which is conducive to a high achieving school and ensures the entitlement of all to a safe and purposeful educational experience.

We aim to provide a nurturing, caring, calm and orderly environment in which children can enjoy learning.  We encourage students to respect property and take a pride in their school and the community in which they live.  Great  behaviour, learning and achievement are valued and celebrated by the whole school community. We look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure Merstham Park is a great school for all.

All students are expected to abide by our community ethos:

Considerate of everyone’s learning in school

Organise yourself and your learning materials

Make a focussed effort to succeed

Meet all deadlines

Use appropriate language in every situation

Never give up - be resilient

Involve yourself in the full life of the school

Tolerant of over views and opinions

You are responsible for your own actions
