Admissions 2018

Admissions to Year 7 at Merstham Park School for September 2018

As a Free School, applications for our first year of opening must be made directly to the school. To apply for a place for September 2018 please complete the application form available at the link here.

At Merstham Park we hope to make your transition from primary to secondary school, or later on as an in-year transfer, as smooth as possible. Below you will find some useful information about the admissions process and links to relevant websites and contacts.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact the GLF Schools team at 01737 919491.

Admissions p1

Please note that parents should also apply for their other preference schools via the Local Authority’s co-ordinated admissions process. A parent may therefore apply for Merstham Park and an additional six schools via the Local Authority admissions form.

On national offer day, 1 March, all parents who receive an offer of a place at Merstham Park may also receive an offer of a place from their Local Authority for another school. This is standard practice for a Free School until the Funding Agreement is signed by the Secretary of State to confirm that the school will definitely open. We are fully expecting our school to open on time but have to follow this process. As soon as the Funding Agreement is signed, which may be before or after the 1 March, then parents will need to decide which place to accept.

Applications via our website will be accepted from 5 September 2017 until 31 October 2017 and we will follow the Local Authority’s admissions timelines which can be found at

We would ask that you read our Admissions Policy for Entry September 2018 and the Admissions frequently asked questions below to ensure you understand our admissions processes and procedures.

If you have any further queries regarding admissions to Merstham Park School please email or telephone 01737 919491.
